FORECASTING, PRODUCTION PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION

Noga Foods is a 4th generation family owned and operated cheese processing company in Schiller Park, IL.

We are looking for a detail oriented, bilingual English/Spanish speaking individual with intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and good communication skills.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, full-time, starting at 6am with ability to work overtime when necessary.

Requirements

  1. Fully Work Authorized.

  2. Clean background check.

  3. Associate degree.

  4. Bilingual – Able to fluently communicate verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish.

  5. Ability to start work at 6 am

Skills:

  1. Ability to use Excel Models for Forecasting

  2. Ability to update excel models as necessary

  3. Ability to analyze and interpret data in graphs and excel tables

  4. Ability to work with database data

  5.  Ability to communicate internally with upper management, sales and production teams and externally with suppliers and customers.

  6. Attention to detail.

  7. Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

  8. Strong time management and multi-tasking skills and ability to make sure time sensitive tasks are completed on time.


Tasks:

Forecasting includes:

1.       Deep understanding of how our excel models work

2.       Comparing actual sales to our models’ expectations and updating the projection models as needed

3.       Collaborating with Sales and Marketing about market conditions as they effect forecasting.

4.       Generating sales forecasts and corresponding raw material and production needs.

Production Planning includes:

1.       determining what and how much to manufacture

2.       creating production schedules for each production line

3.       identifying which in-house raw materials to use.  

4.       Planning also includes determination of which raw materials need to be purchased or brought in from outside sources, based on existing inventory, open orders, and forecasted needs as well as overseeing a purchasing agent execute the purchases.  

Implementation includes:

1.       Generating production schedules

2.       Communicating with production supervisors

3.       Making changes on the fly as needed.  

4.       Shifting line workers between sections when and as needed.

5.       Communication with co-manufacturers.
